The end of the school year is nearly here, and it’s time to thank our teachers and staff for all they do for our children every day!!
Here are a few ideas for how you can help make Teacher Appreciation Week special for our teachers and staff:
Sunday, May 2:
SIDEWALK CHALK MESSAGES
Stop by the school the afternoon of Sunday, May 2 to chalk the sidewalk with encouraging messages and notes of appreciation for our teachers and staff.
May 3-7: STOCK THE TEACHERS’ LOUNGE
Please consider donating individually packaged snacks or canned/bottled sodas and waters to help stock the newly remodeled Teachers’ Lounge! Donations clearly marked “Teachers’ Lounge” can be dropped off in the school lobby during the week of May 3-7.
THANK YOUR TEACHER AND FAVORITE STAFF MEMBERS IN YOUR OWN SPECIAL WAY!
Some low-to-no-cost ways you and your kids can thank the teachers and staff who do so much all year:
- write a thank you card,
- send in a favorite treat,
- make a surprise,
- give a needed school supply,
- make a piece of art,
- write a letter,
- send an encouraging email,
- give a gift card
TEACHER FAVORITES
